Different Portugal – Arrábida Tour
Serra da Arrábida is one of the most surprising destinations in Portugal and also the main destination of this tour. The departure from Lisbon happens right in the morning, in a Different Portugal van. The participants are driven to the top of serra da Arrábida, where they can enjoy the unique view over the Tróia peninsula and the shoreline from Sesimbra to Setúbal. The journey then heads to mercado do Livramento, in Setúbal, where the art-déco decoration is the main highlight. The morning comes to an end with a visit to Portinho da Arrábida beach, just before the lunch break (which is not included on the enrollment).
But the Arrábida tour goes on. After the lunch break, the van drives to Sesimbra village, where everybody can visit its medieval castle. Also scheduled is a visit to a local cellar with a wine taste included – after all, this region is famous for the production of moscatel, a typical liqueur wine. Before the end of the day, the trip arrives to Espichel cape, highlighted by its lighthouse and white sand beaches around it. Enjoy the calm return trip to admire the surrounding landscape. This tour doesn’t include meals nor access to monuments.
